Sergeant Renee Uberuaga The City of Middleton has a contract with Canyon County Sheriff's Office. Sergeant Uberaga says: I have lived in Idaho all my life, growing up in Ketchum and then moving to the Treasure Valley. I started working for the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office in 1995 as a detention deputy. In 1997 I was transferred to the Criminal Investigation Unit and began working as a School Resource Officer for the Middleton School District. This lasted for two years and then I began working on Patrol which has lead to over 10 years working in and around Middleton. While working in Middleton I have developed a great relationship with the City and residents. This position has evolved into a new division within the Sheriff’s Office called COP or Community Oriented Policing. I am currently a Sergeant and hold the title of Chief of Police on Middleton. I love working with the citizens of Middleton and being a part of this great community. I love the mountains, riding motorcycles and time spent with my family.
